Hi All,
Ivan, VE3DO, and I were discussing propagation checks via the newly opened
AM band stations above 1600 KHz.
I found ESPN radio in the New York area on 1680. Doesn't give a call sign,
but it is near NYC, as it is "home station for the NY Jets"
It easily covers up another 1680 station out of Grand Rapids, MI, that
usually broadcasts "hip-hop" music.
There may also be a Dallas, Texas, station on 1700 now.
