I have ordered the resistors from both Mouser and Digi-Key in the past
(Digi-Key 800-344-4539 part #OY471K-ND $0.91 ea for 470 ohms).
The actual resistance of these units seem to have more variance than other
10% resistance tolerance resistors that I've used in the past.
The gas tube surge voltage protectors were ordered from  RadioShack.com
(their part #900-7126 $1.85 ea--page 59 catalog C899).  They have a DC
break down voltage of  72-108 volts, 50v DC holdover voltage, 10 kA max 
impulse current, 1.5 pF max capacitance, 10,000M ohms insulation
resistance...
