The YK9A team arrived in Damascus, Syria safely on schedule with about 90% of
their equipment. Three of K9LA's bags didn't make it. We think they will
come in later today and hopefully can be picked up tomorrow (Sunday). The
group is in
the process of getting everything setup. The Battle Creek Special, R5
vertical and 6M antennas are up. The radio room has a total of 3 power
outlets for 4 stations plus the monitoring station. The team expects to have
the first station on the air sometime today.
Several people have questioned the YK9A transmitting frequencies. Yes the
list is correct and the group will be listening up.
