G'day from Western Australia,
Once again Mike VK6HD and myself will be looking for QSOs with South
America, in particular PY, on topband close to our sunrise during the
southern hemisphere winter.
Mike and I are QRV on 1832 and 1830.3 daily, from 2300 (or earlier) until
our sunrise. My sunrise is currently 2317Z.
If any one on the South American continent (or Antractica) hears us, we
would be very grateful of an SWL report. As the winter here draws on, we
will announce any changes in operating patterns/changes in sunrise times on
the reflector.
Contacts with the South American mainland at this time mean that signals
either have to traverse Antartica, or go over the North Pole. This is a
very big 'ask', and neither of us have ever made a contact with mainland PY.
