My friend who has used an HF2V for a number of years swears that the standard
doorknobs will self-destruct due to moisture collection.  They are mounted
with the "open" end up, so he usually drips candle wax into them and it has
reduced the problem substantially.  He tried a number of different things
before finding this to be the best.
