Modeling shows that this is true -- the Yagi acts like a top

That would very much depend on the tower height, and the size of
the yagi.
The main problem with slopers is they are very dependent on what
is on the tower, and the dimensions of the tower itself. That is
likely why everyone has conflicting opinions about them.
