When I mentioned radial systems in my note on the Copperweld source, I was thinking in terms of the elevated ground plane "radials" that AA0RS uses on his 160M 4-square. An application that suggests the strength of copperweld for longevity. Dave used surplus hookup wire and the wires break occasionally.
