Any suggestions for a source of 16 or 14 gauge bare copper wire? Preferably in 5000 foot spools. All the common Amateur Radio cable distributors want more for #16 bare than 14 gauge insulated at Home Depot. On another note, does anyone have any hard evidence, either for or against, using insulated wire for buried radials? I have not been able to find anything in the common reference books. Just curious. 73, Larry - W7IUV |
