Topband: Extending the Beverage

I have three 580 foot unterminated beverages that have worked very well.  In 
the same direction, the 580 foot beverage has outperformed (signal strength 
and more directional) a shorter beverage of a ~ 230 feet.  Depending on the 
length and height,  shorter beverages may not have the expected ~ 500 - 600 
ohm impedance.  For my location, the 580 foot beverage is optimum.
