Topband: Detuning towers and K9AY loops

Billy, to detune my tower from my 80 and 160m 4 squares I put a drop 
wire from the 60' point on the tower to ground but through the MFJ-931 
artificial ground tuner first then to ground. I would put RF into either 
the 80 or 160m array and tune for zero current through the MFJ unit. The 
same tune nulled out both arrays interaction with the tower. Worked very 
well.
