Hi Marty,
I just installed the third of my two-wire Beverages. I'm using an Ameritron
RCS-8V remote antenna switch to select which antenna to receive from.
Directional switching is via a DPDT relay at the feedpoint. A reversing
transformer is used between the two wires and the center-tap of that is sent
to the matching transformer. I tried 43 and 75 mix toroids and found the 43
worked better for the matching xfmr and 75 worked better for the reversing
xfmr. I run 12VDC through the coax to switch the relays for reversing the
direction, and use the remote antenna switch to select the proper one.
Let me know if you need more info.
