Hello toppers, Have no room for beverages. A farmer about 6 miles away allows me to set up Beverages during winter time. I was thinking about a transponder , mixing the signals up somewhere in the shf band, send it to the QTH, mixing the signals back down to 1.83 MHz MF and use the standard RX ft1000mp as a tuneable MF stage on 1.8 MHz . We used this system in the fifties to receive 144 -146 HHz on our 28 to 30 MHz receivers as tuneable MF.. Someone realized this before ? Thanks for a shout. Jos on4kj |
