Has anyone attempted a NB mod on the 1000MP that is similar to that of the
1000D? My measurements show that even with the NB switched off and the
control fully CCW that there is still 1.6 volts present at the test point
TP2001. The voltage range is 1.6 to 3.2 at full CW. It matters not whether
the NB1 and NB2 are on or off; the voltage readings are the same. I wonder
if anyone else has looked at this and made measurements as to whether or not
it might improve the performance of the radio if the 1.6 volts is fully
removed when the NB is switched off.
