The higher the power rating of the slugs the lower will be frequency response introduced "fri" error. You can order special LOW FREQUENCY ELEMENTS covering 0.45 MHz up to 2.5 MHz however its not worth to spend the extra money. Just to give you an idea a 2-30 MHz 10 W element would give you an "fri" error of about 1 dB on the low side at 1.8 MHz while with a 500 W element for the same frequency range the "fri"error diminishes to practically zero on 1.8 MHz. 73s Roger |
