For the past month or more the latest assignment has been 9V, working on a
new generation of mobile network here in Singapore. The license takes a
while, so operation has been confined to /MM from a motorsailer leased
instead of an apartment (it is the best way to go).
I brought a Helikite and some extra Mylar balloons on this trip and now
Peter, 9V1PC has a full sized quarter wave on top band and first results are
nothing short of fantastic. One more convert to unconventional antenna
supports! Maybe he can fill in the details later, as it has been a very
interesting project so far.
Now, all we need is propagation.
