Although there would be no difference in any kind of static, for mechanical
purposes, wouldn't the "appeared length" be slightly longer because the
insulation tends to make the wire "electrically longer"? Perhaps another way
to
squeeze a few extra feet out of short Beverages?
I have found the size of the wire to make 80 meter loops around 8 feet
shorter, than would have been expected when using heavily insulated nr 14
braided.
