Paul,I have two wires Beverage 200 m long which is builded on
the fence about 3m above the ground.Because the fence is very close
to houses of my neighbours I have noise from teir computers and TV sets.
So I decided to make paralell BOG also 200m long,the distance between
them is about 10m.
I used 300 ohm resistor. BOG is much more quiet but on 160m receiving
signals are at least 1 S lower. On 80m is worse situation because its
weaker about 3S! I have very good ground /contrary to Riki/ and I suppose
that's a reason. Its practically useless on 40m. Because I need it now on 80m
hoping for XF4 /I'm afraid no chances on 160m from EU/ I will take it up.
