Topband: Q: Measuring Height?

I suspect thisi sn't an issue, but I'm in the process of putting up 
some EWE's over a significantly sloping urban backyard, and was 
wondering whether it makes a difference if the horizontal wire is 
parallel to the ground or perpendicular to the vertical wires.

Any/all thoughts are appreciated.
