If the DX stations keep insisting on working simplex in
contests on 160 and if USA stations do the same, everyone
will severely limit themselves in contacts.
People at each end of the pond who can't hear a thing but
who transmit real well will repeat the same old contest
nonsense of endless CQ's right on top each other. Bad enough
on CW, but with -35IM3 from clean transmitters and some
contesters cranking the internal power adjustments of rigs
up it makes things unbearable!
But maybe the goal is to make noise, and not contacts. Hi
hi.
