Thanks to everyone who replied to my plea for help with my new IC-746PRO and
using RX antennas.
I received two suggestions - a Ameco PT3 or the KD9SV SVDXII box. I opted for
the KD9SV unit and am very pleased with the results.
The rig is small but very comfortable to use and performed wonderfully during
the contest on all bands. Overload wasn't a significant problem.
I don't know how the receiver compares to the higher priced rigs but, my
initial impression is very favorable.
