Topband: Need help in winning a Preamp Wager

This is big time... I have a Diet Pepsi at risk in a bet with N4CW:

I say Preamps are best located at the RX antenna feed point, N4CW says
it makes no difference on 160 if a preamp is at the antenna feed point
or in the shack.

I really can't afford to loose this wager.  Any and all support comments
for UCE will be greatly appreciated...
