A couple of articles have appeared in QST on building a 160/80M inverted "L". Two of these are in May, 1985 by the late W1FB, and in July, 1991 by AE6C. I built one similar to the W1FB design as my first topband antenna, and worked my first 25 or so countries on 160, many more than that on 80M with it.
