Greetings everyone
I was reflecting upon how one would
model an antenna sloping away from a
near-vertical cliff (1000-ft high or
so). Is it reasonable to do this by
rotating the cliff 90-deg and
calling it ground and modeling the
antenna as being as high above the
"ground" as it is away from the
cliff?
The cliff/mountain-side on the
far-side of the valley is about
1-mile distant and the valley-floor
is a very rocky-sandy matrix kept
wet by clean glacier-fed water -
read that poor actual ground.
