Asked, "Anyone have any tips on making an inverted-L out of 300 Ohm twin lead? What is a good length? I can get about 72 feet vertical . What length radials and how many?" Phil W8UV Phil, There's no good or legitimate reason to use twin lead. Performance is essentially identical to that of a simple single conductor. A shunt-coil matched single wire element is the ultimate in simplicity. 73, Roy K6XK _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
