After talking often to Halim YB1A
on 40m , I was able to encourage him
via EMAIL to try TOP BAND - I told him
to initially try a quarter wave sloper off his tower,,
and sent some articles on the theory and construction.
YB1A is now active on TOP BAND !!!
Halim writes very good ENGLISH
and has very good comprehension !

He is using 4 el yagi on 40m up 150 feet
- he has hung quarter wave sloper to USA
off this tower - conditions now are noisey
on RECEIVE - he can easily run high power!

He just worked an European and Steve VK6VZ
The band has been very noisey at his location
He has some serious space limitations but
perhaps a pennent loop would help him ? depends
are " stuff " in " near field" .
