| This may be of general interest. Many years ago I shunt fed my 35 foot tower with an ABT-34 tribander on top. The tower is a tubular crank up. I ran a wire off from about 2/3s up at a 45 degree angle. I could match it, however, even with a pretty heavy shorting strap across the section joint, the SWR would jump around in the wind.
