I think I may have caused some confusion about what I am hearing on my deaf
K9AY array. I get VERY little signal, but LOTS of noise. The noise input
to the rcvr is lower than that from my Inv L, but the S/N ratio is terrible.
The signal from WWV was great last night on the Inv L, but couldn?t hear
them at all on the K9AY, although the noise from the array is WELL above the
noise floor of the rcvr. I still have some concerns about re-radiation from
the inverted L. I took it loose from the tuning network, but did not ground
it when I was trouble shooting. Since it is ¼ wl long, it still may be a
problem with re-radiation.
