In a recent exchange about receive antennas, one poster
mentioned success with beverages only 45-60m long, on both
160 and 80.
Has anyone had practical experience with a short beverage,
as compared with loops or ewe's? It would appear that I
could put up a rotatable k9ay loop, OR a 55m beverage twd EU.
Thoughts?
I'm empirical, and inclined to try the beverage, just to see
how it plays against the dipole. The loop represents a more
serious investment.
