What a morning.... woke at 0330 and lay there.... decided to make a cup of tea so turned on 160m 35 minutes later having had 14 QSOs 10W stations, VE and 4X (must have been daylight with David!) Signal reports from the US between 579 and 599. But the most astounding thing was the noise level was ZERO.... gentle receiver hiss only, absolutely no static. Never heard the band so quiet. The tea went cold..... Good band innit! Ian, G3ROO _______________________________________________ Topband mailing list Topband@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/topband |
