I use the loop with a Ham-4 @5' above ground. I use sch 40 pvc to hold it up
and the loop is made out of 75 ohm 3/4" hardline. I also have in line an AMECO
PT-3, not used often. The loop is @ 60' from my shunt fed twr. There is some
interaction between and I am working with a relay to take the xmit out of the
picture when receiving. I hear so much more on the loop than I can hear on the
vertical due to s/n. My lot is 85x126 and I would be lost without my loop. I
got the hardline from my local cable co. for free!
