Can anyone tell me where in the USA it is available? Mine is designed for
use as overhead drop cable. I bought a large spool of it at a hamfest for
$10. It has a single strand of galvanised steel embedded in the jacket
along with the coax. I let mine lie on top of the ground in winter and roll
it up to get out of the way of the farmer who leases the cropland, between
planting time and harvest time.
Nothing has ever bothered the cable lying on the ground, except that I have
had problems with critters chewing on it, and have had to repair the jacket
several times. Maybe they would not chew on the direct burial variety. I
understand direct burial cable has some additive in the jacket material that
makes it less palatable to animals.
