Is the noise similar to or related to the noise that was on 7120-7160 kHz
this morning [5:45 AM MDT]?
I looked at that one with a spectrum analyzer and a couple days ago recorded
a small time segment of it. Since it is a different band it may have no
relationship to the "Dragon" mentioned on the Top band reflector.
On the analyzer the one I looked at seemed to have bursts of pulses about
500 millisecond long with a very short inter pulse period. It covered about
40 kHz of 40m spectrum and was at a beam heading of about 320 degrees
[JA,BY,etc] at this Idaho location.
