Hi Gary,

Although I played in the contest to the tune of about 400+ QSOs, I didn't
enter it because I was right in the midst of a VERY steep (for me) learning
curve on the use of computerized / cabrillo contest submissions...

What a great pity it is, indeed, that I am effectively prevented from seeing
how the rest of the gang made out in the contest via the website, simply
because I'm not an ARRL member. I don't recall reading anywhere prior to the
event that membership to the League was a criteria to anyone PARTICIPATING
in the contest, and no one stopped me mid-contest QSO to ask me if I
belonged to the ARRL, either...

Don't get me wrong, this is not ARRL bashing, per se --- merely a personal
observation.
