Along with all of you, I am very sad to hear of the passing of Earl. When I
came to 160 in the early 70's, Earl was there to help me get my shunt fed
vertical going, and info on 160 DXing. We worked each other many times in
contests over the years, and Earl would always extend a greeting and kind
words.The
other year, it was my pleasure to finely meet Earl in person at Dayton. 73's
