The recent passing of K6SE (and others in the past several months) provides
us all with a poignant lesson. Earl has done great things for many of us
around the world, but how many of us have taken the time to thank him while he
was alive?
We've all been blessed in this community to have friends, elmers and even
arch-rivals who have helped us raise the bar in our personal and station
performance. Maybe if we take a little time to honor and thank them in the
"living
years" we can help them understand just how immense and appreciated their
contributions are.
By no means is this meant to denigrate the wonderfully-written posts from
top banders around the world, it is just to suggest that we acknowledge great
contributions that our heroes, like Earl, made while they are still here to
appreciate it.
Paul, K5AF
