Just getting the inverted L antenna operatinal . I want to use a rf
ammeter with it and want to get the right value meter. My L is 165 feet
long. Power level is 1500 watts. I have seen rf ammeters of 3 and 10 amps
so far .
What value is suggested?"

The formula is radical P/R. So assuming 18 ohms feedpoint Z, and 1500 watts,
the answer is 9 amps. flowing. You'd want the 10 amp meter for sure.
