Depends on how much signal isolation you need..
Technically, having each item inside a tightly RF sealed container and using
coax and coax
relays to choose the RF path through them will give the best isolation and
least
amount of bypass leakage...
Now the question becomes , how much leakage around the pad and filter can you
live with?
Only you can answer that... Myself, I see no problem with ugly construction
for Beverage signal levels...
