Nonlinear isotropic media are a *necessary* but *not sufficient*
condition for nonreciprocal electromagnetic wave propagation.
I'm not saying it can't happen, but the nonlinearity and anisotropy of
the ionosphere does not guarantee that HF propagation is
nonreciprocal!
