I have noticed that when A and K indecies are low, the conditions into NA
are mediocre. At times, like this morning, one or two very strong
stateside stations may come thru (this morning it was WB0HCH) from one
particular area. When the A and K indecies start moving, whether up or
down, condx into the states immediately get better. On saturday morning
last week condx into USA were very good (A index and K index were going
down) but on sunday morning condx were poor (indecies stabilzed).
Condx into JA appears to behave in quite another fashion - generally condx
are very good with low A and K numbers. Obviously condx on 160 are much
more complicated than just A and K!
