Good Day All,
A lot of Top Band aficionados probably weren't aware of it, but Jack was a
gung-ho Ham when it came to vintage gear operation, too, especially the use
of amplitude modulated 'phone...
During the last sun spot peak, he thrilled more than a few diehard AM'ers
with their first (and most likely to that point, their only) amplitude
modulation QSO with the State of Hawaii up above the 10-meter AM window
frequency of 29.0-MHz.
He'll be surely missed, on several fronts...
