Hi Doug, Some would say even 120 radials is overkill. I believe ON4UN says about 0.025 wavelengths between 1/4 wavelength radial tips is adequate to screen ground losses. This is about 13' on 160 which means you only need about 60 radials. W8JI agrees with the 50-60 number based on actual field strength measurements.
