Good Day All,
I'm usually not one for fussing and keeping meticulous records when it comes to
DXCC awards & the like anymore, but for some reson I felt compelled yesterday
to gather-up the QSLs I might need to qualify me for a 160-meters Worked All
Continents award (maybe it was the annual dues cheque that I mailed to our
IARU-associated Radio Amateurs of Canada last Monday!)...
I'd already had all of the continents in hand, save for Africa, in a batch of
QSLs that I received from the incoming bureau last week. I dug into my box
(LITERALLY!) of cards in the shack, looking for anything marked "1.8-MHz", and
hit the motherlode: Cyprus, Libya, Cagos Archipelago, etc. etc.!
I'd forgotten that I'd even WORKED those places, never-mind had them
confirmed...
What an inspirational way to help get the new top band season underway here.
