Gary,
Go to wally world and buy a slingshot, a cheap spinning reel , some
monofilament line for said reel,,some lead fishing weights.(paint the
weights white so you can find them)
Mount the reel on the slingshot and attach the weight to the fishing line
and shoot the weight attached to the mono over what ever you want.
Then take some woven nylon rope and attach it to the mono and pull the rope
over. Make it so there is a continious loop of rope over the tree or what
ever , then all you have to do is attach the wire to the loop and you have
the wire up. Leave the loop in place so when the wire breaks you can pull
another wire ..
I can stand in my back yard and shoot the weight/mono over some 50 foot
tall pine trees in the front yard easily.
