At 1130 UTC this morning the 1800.5 K7RAT beacon was an easy 100% copy at
about 549. The 1999.5 beacon was detectable, however it was in and out of the
noise, maybe a 20-25% copy.
Both signals seemed to peak at about 1200 UTC. The 1800.5 frequency was an
easy armchair (speaker) copy at about 569. The 1999.5 frequency had improved
but was still in and out of the noise floor. The amount of time it spent
above my very low noise floor was maybe a little more then 1/3 of the time.
During a QSO I would have sent a 339 QSB.
I have no antennas up in the air at the moment, the antenna I was listening
on is a short (very) on the ground about 125 feet from the salt water. I
doubt that the frequency response of this antenna varies much between 1800 and
1999 Khz.
