Yes of course.  About 30 years ago, I had a big rotary wafer
switch driven by a rotary solenoid.  Each pulse of the rotary
solenoid turned the shaft 30 degrees.  It had 12 positions,
which allowed 6 taps for 80/75 meters, and some other ones for
40 and 160.  It worked perfectly.
