My first TopBand contest was in 2004.
Was on 160 back in the mid-70s from NY and remember the restrictions well and
the LORAN. My receiver didn't hold a candle to what I've had since 2004.
It was nice to be real close to salt water :o)
Still have a note from Mr 160 W1BB.
