Huh? Did you miss this post from our moderator? I'd call it long overdue.

So - Topband list. I am disappointed.
Here is one message I have in my inbox this morng:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Good morning owner/moderator,
Due to due departure from Topband subjects and increased forays into
chatting I have set my preference to mo mail for a time. I joined to
read and learn about 160M operating, antennas equipment, etc but this
seems to have gone the way of the other lists out there. I had gone to
digest mode but the inability of some to clip their posts, and other
lack of posting protocol, makes it difficult to read with any
understanding for me. Perhaps I am just getting too old for this.
>From the posts you have made, I know you have reminded folks of proper
posting etiquette but they are not listening, I guess.
I do hope things return to normal... and if/when that occurs would you
please let me know? Thanks.

There are MANY other ones I have received during the weekend, (I was
busy with the SS).
It seems that in unmoderated mode - some people (and they are a minority
I am sure) don't seem to have sufficient control to not start posting
messages that do not conform to the purpose of this list.
People are putting one or two lines of text and including the whole
message under it - totally against logic. People are talking about
what kinds of noises their dog makes when DX is on the air.
THIS IS NOT A CHAT ROOM. If you want to do that - go find one. There
are some nice ones like the ON4KST one.
I am just about the point of having no option but to go back to moderated
mode. I was hoping we could leave this open so the delays associated
could be eliminated.
