| Topband: TX3D feedback Around 0930Z this am I tuned around 160 and found TX3D to be very loud on 1831, legitimate 579, on my 50' T (with only 5 radials out right now.) Took a bit to figure out they were listening on 1823. Worked them on first call with 300w for a new one. Actually, probably my longest distance 160M QSO to date - too bad I couldn't do that in the Stew Perry... So, I give them great marks for their 160M operation - amazingly loud here and great ears. 73, John K3TN _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK |
