Hello Group: Thanks to everyone for their advice on how to achieve 160m CW WAS. Last night I logged my 100th station on topband. It was N6RX in Livermore, California, about 300 miles (482 km) to my north. He was part of a nightly AM net. I was running 25W AM with my horizontal 3.1 MHz doublet 12 feet (4m) above the ground. Considering my modest station, N6RX was able to copy me. 73 Brian, KD6NRP Ventura County, California _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK |
