OK, inverted L is not the best receiving antenna for DX (no surprise).
Tonight on 160, I heard VE1ZJ working UA9MA. I heard nothing of the UA9
station.
NT0V then worked UA9MA. Still no UA9MA/
This all occurred at 0128 UTC, gray line for UA9MA, darkness for North
America.
Noise level on my inverted L is about S5. Not the best, but certainly not
awful. I can hear the Europeans on the inverted L.
Is a beverage the best solution in this case? I have the room for a 2
wavelength bev, but it's directional. Probably good to point it towards
JA/UA9/UA0, that's where I need the help.
Thoughts?
